👋🏼 I’m Alicia - my pronouns are she/her/hers. I’m a Southeast Asian American living in the San Francisco Peninsula. My roots lie in my Mien heritage, and I take pride in being a member of the LGBTQ+ community.

My focus is on creating human-centered experiences that resonate with users on a deep level. Leveraging research and data, I work to design impactful experiences that address real user needs and pain points.

At the heart of my approach is empathy. By putting myself in the shoes of users, I can gain a deep understanding of their wants, needs, and desires, and use that understanding to craft experiences that are intuitive, engaging, and effective.

With a strong background in design and a passion for innovation, I am constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible in product design. I am committed to creating experiences that are both beautiful and functional, and that truly make a difference in people's lives.

Why UX Design?

During the pandemic, I found myself challenged to create top-notch digital experiences for students with diverse needs through virtual teaching, which inspired me to delve into the field of UX. As I familiarized myself with new technology and innovative tools, I decided to pursue this passion and enrolled in a UX/UI Design boot camp. Through this program, I gained a firsthand appreciation for the critical role that UX Designers play in improving productivity and enhancing customer experiences.
